#27: Dealing with isolation & World changing documentaries
Welcome to issue #27 of The Power Up, the curated email magazine from Man Body Spirit.

This was the week when the majority of global nations introduced tighter ‘lockdown’ guidelines for citizens, impacting lives and livelihoods all around the world.

Covid-19 remains the topic dominating our minds right now, as we get used to the idea that we could be experiencing this ‘new normal’ for months, as ‘social distancing’ of some form is likely to continue for as long as it takes to develop, test and rollout an effective vaccine.

These are unique times and they are impacting the mental, physical & spiritual health of many of us. So I hope this week’s selection can provide some help & respite.

Stay home, stay safe, stay healthy.

100 documentaries that might help us change the World
Unsurprisingly given the circumstances use of content streaming services has been growing exponentially.

But rather than watching Disney+ or playing endless Playstation (a friend commented this week how many of us adults are regressing to our teenage selves!), why not invest the time in content that might teach you something new or challenge your perspectives?

Documentaries have an incredible power to raise awareness and create transformative changes in consciousness both at personal and global levels.

The team at Films for Action have spent 13 years watching and cataloguing hundreds of social change documentaries.

This is their Top 100, handpicked for their quality, insight and potential to inspire positive change. All of them are either free, or can be rented online.

Why it’s so exhausting to work from home
Those of us who have found our regular jobs transferred to a home office environment these past couple of weeks will have encountered a number of challenges.
