In the first edition of the Man Body Spirit podcast I talk to movement teacher, Henry Neumann (@henrythenewman) about holistic personal growth. Henry is based in the beautiful city of Bamberg, Bavaria, and his teaching takes him all over the world, including frequent trips to learn at the Budokon University in Miami.

In our wide-ranging conversation we discuss Budokon, movement and the importance of a holistic, balanced approach to personal growth, taking into account physical, mental, and spiritual coaching.

We touch on the importance of mentors and share tips on how to find find a mentor that is right for you.

Henry introduces us to the concept of ‘Beginner’s Mind’ when it comes to growth.

We also discuss why men don’t but should do yoga, the benefits of meditation, how to be strong without being hard, and soft without being weak, as well as how we can live better in harmony with technology – including some practical tips on how to not be a slave to your mobile phone.

“A real warrior knows that peace should always be the first option.” Henry Neumann
